Wheel Supplier < back

To find the right wheel supplier can be a time consuming task, however, once you know what to look for and how to search things will go very quickly and you will be able to find the best offer for your needs. The most time consuming part of finding the right supplier is the fact that there are so many of them out on the market and they almost all use their website as a sales shop.

Finding a wheel supplier also requires for you to carefully do your homework because even if you have narrowed your search down to a few suppliers, you will have to be sure of knowing what you need to order and what you also personally would like. Although the best prices can be found through suppliers on the internet, there is not as much personal contact as if you were to go into a shop and have someone look at your car. In case of any general questions though, any serious online company will offer you contact possibilities, such as a toll free number, email address or fax number. This can be a great help, but they still cannot personally look at your car, unless they happen to have a partner in your area where you can go to and find personal help there.

A wheel supplier will generally have almost all standard wheel sizes and forms available, however, in some cases a custom made wheel is necessary. For example, you might need a special order wheel if you have a vintage oldtimer or special racing trim since wheels for these types are not produced anymore or only are especially made.

In order to be able to place an order, you will have to know some facts first. One thing to know is the size of the wheels that you need, since sizes can range from 13” to 30”. Ordering the wrong size can be a big mistake. Another thing to know is the exact model, make, trim, version, and building year of your vehicle so that you can order a wheel that has been manufactured for just this vehicle. This way you can be sure you are getting the right product. Another consideration to make regards the construction materials of the wheels. There are two types available, the so-called aluminum alloy wheel and the regular steel wheel. Both are good, but the alloy wheel has a couple of advantages, such as its light weight and strength.
